Anyone who knows me knows that I am a big Harry Potter fan. And I am also a big fan of the fantastic Whimsic Alley in Los Angeles, CA, a store that, when you enter, looks a lot like Diagon Alley. Inside, they’ve got a Great Hall for events (complete with a secret Tardis entrance), the throne from Game of Thrones, and lots and lots of other fabulous things for fans of books/movies/television like Harry Potter, Dr. Who, Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, etc . . . There even a little Jane Austen section, too!
Every year they host a Yule Ball during the holiday season. For those of us HP fans, you know what I mean. For those of you not familiar, it’s basically a Christmas party. There is dinner, drinks, and dancing–and I can promise you that it will be amazing because all their events are. I am pleased as punch to announce that the store is offering up five sets of two tickets to the Yule Ball (normally $70 each!) to win–and you can come and say hi to me while there (as I’ll be partying, too!).
